Jess

Jess qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton in 2019. Since then, she has moved to North Wales after being drawn to the mountains and the pursuit of outdoor sports.
Having worked for the NHS in both England and Wales, Jess has a broad range of experience in many areas of Physiotherapy, including Musculoskeletal, Sports, Paediatrics, Neurology, Orthopaedics and Elderly Care. She is also qualified in Sport and Remedial massage and Pilates, adding these into her Physiotherapy practice and understanding both the short-term and long-term benefits these can have in treating injuries and improving pain; viewing the body as a whole unit where all parts must work together rather than specific segments of joint, muscle or tendon.
In her spare time, Jess enjoys Rock Climbing, Running, Mountain Biking, Surfing, Skiing and cold-water swimming. Having first-hand experience of these sports - as well as going through a few injuries herself – Jess understands common mechanisms of injury such as trauma or overuse, and the process of rehabilitation that can often be more specific to return to a sport or activity.
Jess is also a Welsh Learner and tries to use her Welsh skills as best she can when treating patients.
Jess is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council
